Privacy & contact
Summary for visitors. The operator publishes the full Article 14 transparency notice at a stable URL before inviting other users.
What personal data we process
LandFinder processes only data already published on UK public registers — for example company directors from Companies House, planning applicants as published by local authorities, and registered proprietors on HM Land Registry corporate ownership datasets. We do not buy marketing lists or scrape paywalled sources.
Where our data comes from
Personal data in the product is ingested from official UK registers under their published terms. The public pages on this marketing site (ranked leads, sample digest) use synthetic walkthrough data only — not live register extracts.
- Companies House — director and officer appointments (service addresses only, never home addresses)
- planning.data.gov.uk — planning applications and brownfield registers (Open Government Licence v3.0)
- HM Land Registry open data — corporate ownership and price-paid datasets where licensed
Contains HM Land Registry data © Crown copyright and database right 2026. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
Lawful basis and operating mode
In personal-use mode a single operator runs the system for their own research. Legitimate interests are documented in the project’s Legitimate Interests Assessment. Before any multi-user beta, the controller must complete ICO registration, sign off the LIA with a real legal entity, and publish the full transparency notice — see Gate 2 in the commercialisation documentation.
Transparency notice (full text)
The operator will publish the full Article 14 transparency notice at a stable URL on this domain before opening access to paying or beta users. Until then, treat this page as a high-level summary only — not a substitute for the notice required for multi-user operation.
Your rights
Data subjects may request access, correction, or erasure of personal data we hold. The operator responds within one calendar month. Erasure jobs are supported in the product backend; register-derived facts may reappear on the next lawful ingest from the source.
